Dear Aviation Enthusiast;
Thank you for your interest in Colorado Northwestern Community College Aviation Technology Flight program. We have been teaching people how to fly airplanes for over forty years. Our graduates have gone on to aviation careers in corporate, airline and general aviation. Many have become managers, chief pilots, and served on various aviation boards.
Why should you join our Aviation Program?
- College flight team placed first out of all two year schools in the nation at the National Intercollegiate Flying Association flight competition in Columbus, Ohio 2011.
- Our graduates have nearly 100% job placement in various different flying positions.
- Small ratio of instructors to students so you have more individual attention.
- Costs are amongst the lowest in the nation for degree flight programs.
- Aero Club membership in the National Intercollegiate Flying Association which provides funding for our students to practice for and participate in regional and national flight competitions.
- Great Outdoor Recreation Program (ORP) which offers organized trips such as rafting, skiing, hiking, backpacking, spelunking, snow caving and more.
- Credit for prior learning and flexibility of start times through independent study.
- Good weather that allows us to fly over 320 days out of the year.
- We offer airplane flight training in our Associate of Applied Science and Associate of General Studies degree programs.
Please consider this my personal invitation for you, your family and friends to check us out. Contact us for an appointment or simply stop by for a visit.
Sincerely,
